Photographic Memories of Richmond – Presented by Mike Wood and Brian Woodley.
Using a range of images of Richmond taken from magic lantern slides unseen for over 100 years, a 16mm cine film of the 1929 Richmond Pageant thought to have been lost, and a recently discovered 35mm film strip made in 1945 by the British Council depicting Richmond as a typical English town, this is a unique opportunity to experience this important part of Richmond local history, all to be shown on original equipment of the day. Admission £5 on the door. Refreshments available by donation.
