The Secret Life of the Swale celebrates with you our enjoyment and curiosity about life in the Swale.
We have brought together interactive experiments, storytelling, photographs, drawings and the sampling equipment that the Save Our Swale River Fly sampling group use to encourage children and adults to set down their memories, thoughts and concerns for the Swale and the creatures who depend on it.
Who are Save Our Swale (SOS)?
We are a local community group working together to keep the River Swale clean for water-based recreation and wildlife.
What is the SOS River Fly sampling group?
Richmond volunteers who've come together under the national RiverFly Partnership (https://www.riverflies.org) to discover more about the insects that live in the Swale.
