Mark Evans' Bleak Expectations (performed by Richmond Amateur Dramatic Society) is a gloriously daft Dickensian romp, packed with villains, ridiculous names, wild plot twists, romance, death scenes, and hopefully a happy ending.
Based on the hit BBC Radio 4 series, the play premiered at The Watermill Theatre in 2022 and transferred to London's West End in 2023.
