A new exhibition is now open at The Green Howards Museum, featuring an extraordinary D-Day diorama created by 15-year-old Ted, member of the North Riding Scale Model Club. The detailed scene Focuses on the 6th and 7th Battalion, Green Howards, highlighting their actions on 7th June 1944, the day after the landings. At its centre is a model of CSM Stanley Hollis VC, the only soldier to receive the Victoria Cross on D-Day. Ted's work was recently displayed at the National Scale Model Show in Telford, where he was named Junior National Champion by the International Plastic Modellers' Society. Now on show in Richmond, this free exhibition is a moving tribute to both local heroism and emerging young talent. Don't miss the chance to see history
