The Richmond Meet (the Meet) is an association of individuals having an affection for Richmond & its people, together with a desire to enhance the life of the Local area. It is independent, self-financing, of charitable outlook & open to anyone wishing to become a Patron, or member.
Throughout the year, ad-hoc events may be organized for public enjoyment & entertainment, with a principal weekend of activities over the Whitsuntide/Spring Bank Holiday, i.e. the Meet Weekend.
Charity collections & /or activities may be arranged for either specific or general purposes, but always for purely local recipients within approx. an 8 mile radius of Richmond.
It will be the norm for a charity collection to be undertaken over the Meet Weekend, with the gross proceeds applied to local charities.
