I have spent most of my career working as an illustrator & sculptor – initially creating images for advertising, editorial and packaging – but more latterly illustrating for the Historic & Exhibition sectors, as well as designing numerous coins for the Royal Mint.
Over the years I have also tied to create images that are a less commercial, more personal and which have a more lasting relevance. This exhibition shows quite a few images created since moving to this inspirational part of the world, a couple of years ago, as well as pieces from further back, from previous times.
My work is rooted in the English Idiom: in its landscape, customs, traditions and eccentricities. I draw my inspiration from the Eternal Cycle of the Seasons and from the Battle of the Field.
