An exhibition of mixed media drawings inspired by the natural world by artist Amy Horton.
Amy's work combines her life-long love of nature and the outdoors with her passion for drawing and this exhibition celebrates the incredible beauty and diversity of our native flora and fauna; from seabirds and woodland creatures to beloved garden visitors. Exploring intricate textures and patterns along with mixed media layering and line, Amy combines detailed studies with vivid layers of media such as watercolour paint and Gelli print.
Amy trained in Secondary Education and taught Art and Photography for 16 years whilst continuing to develop her own art practise.
