Richmond MayFest presents Bisarr in concert, supported by Emaline Delapaix.
Bisarr are Nicholas Konradsen and James Noble, two outstanding young musicians with a strong world music vibe, playing on an amazing variety of instruments. Their first album was hailed by The Guardian for its 'nervous, thrilling energy'. Bisarr are supported by Emaline Delapaix, originally from Australia and now living on the edge of the Dales. Emaline writes ethereal, folky songs with influences from Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Joni Mitchell and many Celtic/Scandinavian artists. Her current project includes writing songs about her ancestors and traditions.
