Richmond MayFest is a festival of traditional & historical music, dance and family fun. Richmond Castle hosts a May Fair with music, dancing, storytelling, living history and children's activities . On Saturday the Town Hall has a Musical Coffee Morning, with a Mini Folk Fest on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, plus performances from dance schools on Sunday morning. The Market Place is full of entertainments all weekend - plus the MayFest Parade on Monday. Ticketed events include Bisarr in concert at St Agatha's, Easby, and the Richmondshire Choral Society at St Mary's, a Retro Night of dancing on Friday and a Ceilidh on Sunday.
Free entry for DL9, DL10 and DL11 residents to the Castle and Museum all weekend, as well as discounts on all ticketed events.
