An enlightening, creative day designed for those who would love to learn more about hand embroidery – even if you have never threaded a needle before. You'll learn a range of stitches and how they can be altered, placed together and apart and worked using a variety of threads to create different effects. After an inspiring morning learning stitches, you'll be guided to create your own personal piece of artwork to display your new found skills. As well as learning basic embroidery skills we'll explore how to prepare your work for display and other uses and how to transfer designs for embroidery.
