An exhibition of gouache paintings by local, North East artist
Sarah Oatley has been an artist since 1994 after studying at the Northern School of Art.
Sarah has a passion for painting seascapes and landscapes of County Durham, North Yorkshire and Northumberland as a disabled person, getting out to paint PlainAir is has been difficult in the past few years, so instead choosing to painting intimate, ordinary or painting the 'mundane', capturing the essence of the subject and the changing light from different times of day.
