4 June
Venue: Green Howards Museum
Time: 19:00

Now an expert on his character's real life US Army regiment, the 101st Airborne Division's 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, he'll share their history and recount memories of his own time on HBO's iconic Second World War series. We'll compare and contrast the 506th's experience with that of the Green Howards soldiers, some of whom also served in an infantry parachute battalion during the invasion of France in 1944.

Join us for this very special event helping us mark the 80th anniversary of the D Day landings and the start of the Normandy campaign. You will have time to view our special D Day exhibition from 7pm, listen to Matthew, then enjoy a selection of French wines and cheeses in the stunning surroundings of the museum's Normanby Room.
